And if the crowds here are any indication, the attempt will be successful. Its located near Skid Row (but a secure parking lot should alleviate any fears of visiting) and serves excellent California cuisine. Its a favorite hangout of artists as well as the downtown corporate lunch crowd. The chicken salads, fresh fruit and turkey sandwiches are all good, and theres a modest dessert menu as well.
