Address: 3667 S Las Vegas Blvd Zipcode: 89109 Website: http://www.aladdincasino.com There is a great deal of Vegas history at the Aladdin (this is where Elvis and Priscilla got married), which makes nostalgics a bit teary-eyed at the thought of the imminent renovations. If you want to walk through the Cave of Wonders, jump on your magic carpet and get to the Aladdin soon. If you don’t, you might be greeted at the door by the Terminator rather than a genie. But until Arnie, Sly and Bruce show up, it’s all about 1,001 Arabian Nights. Genie lamps and carpets greet you at every turn, and that rumbling you’re hearing overhead means rain is about to fall in the souk-themed shopping mall called the Desert Passage. Exquisite Moroccan tile work gives the theme substance, but it’s the kitschy details that will make you smile – magic lamp-shaped faucet handles and the like. Deluxe rooms feature rich burnt orange and sienna colors, while resort rooms are lighter in tone with cheery yellows and deep blue and burgundy accents. Resort rooms also feature granite baths, separate showers, and ambient bathroom lighting.
