Choose from raunchy but lovable Coyote Ugly, or the laid-back ESPN Zone Las Vegas. Do we dare tell you how Coyote Ugly got its name? It’s probably best if you go straight to the source and visit the bar itself in Las Vegas and ask them. But it’s got something to do with waking up with somebody new in your bed and . . . never mind. Ask the girls at the bar, if you can get them to stop dancing on the bar long enough to answer a question. Everything goes at Coyote Ugly. There are a few of these bars scattered around the country, but this Southern-style bar with the frat house feel fits like a glove in Las Vegas. Don’t worry about having to fight through the velvet rope here. It’s come one, come all at Coyote Ugly. Be prepared to do some serious drinking and hollering. You should also be prepared to tip your head back so waitresses who look like Daisy Duke can pour shots down your throat while the room yells, "Drink! Drink! Drink!" Don’t expect to order a martini or cosmo here – it’s all shots and beer, and not for the faint of heart. (But neither was college, and you did all right there, didn’t you?) It’s obvious why the men like this hot spot, but you’ll find a nearly equal number of women. Why? Only women are allowed to get up and dance on the bar. As Southern rock blasts from the jukebox, women climb up onto the bar and strut their stuff, knowing that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas (at least it did until the proliferation of camera phones).
