Built on a block-size park, this large European-style chateau was owned by oil baron Edward Doheny. Now owned by Mount St. Marys College and used for faculty residences, the mansion has survived well over the years with few alterations. The interior is not open to the public but the exterior of the house and the surrounding estates provide a fine walk along Adams Boulevard.
