In the front bar, rugby and soccer matches play out on the overhead TV and friendly bartenders verbally spar with the beer-fueled crowd of Aussies and those who love them. If you’d like a more formal meal, settle in Eight Mile Creek’s small, cool-toned dining room with white-clothed tables topped with vases of pale roses. Aussie specialties include kangaroo skewers with mountain berry ketchup, emu carpaccio, and Tasmanian oysters.
