F&B (the name stands for frites and beignets) gives new meaning to the term Euro trash with its dressed-up hot dogs. Chicken, tofu, salmon, pork and beef sausages are all gussied up for America’s eating enjoyment. But don’t expect typical American super sizes, hungry man. These portions are petite, and the prices are a smidge high, but hey, you’ll look so European eating these doggie dogs; you can even sip a split of the bubbly with your meal. The digs are as posh as they get, with robin’s-egg-blue walls a la Tiffany and modern décor. The “Great Dane,” a pork hot dog topped with frizzled onions, sweet pickles, Danish mustard, French remoulade and apple ketchup, is considered Best in Show. The buns are soft and mushy and useful for soaking up all of those toppings. Sniffing is allowed.
