You haven’t had the real-deal experience, though, until you step into a Hustler Hollywood. On your way into the Nashville location, you may have to play red rover with a queue of protesters (you are, after all, in the Bible Belt), but the effort’s worth it. Inside, you’ll find products that appeal to both genders. Your boyfriend can browse the videos while you admire the lotions, lingerie, purses and hats, feeling strangely comfortable, emboldened even. A wide selection and the sterility of the polished floor and bright lights make Hustler Hollywood feel like an adults-only Wal-Mart. You may even get out of the store without blushing.
