In the 1960s, Cornell had amassed a collection of news photography. He exhibited this work and went on to form the ICP. The Center retains a bias towards photojournalism and documentary photography, with a focus on preserving work from the 20th century. Recent exhibits have included Andy Warhol: Photography, Annie Leibovitz: Women, and Man Ray: Photography and Its Double. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors. Only cash payments are accepted.
