Over Easy doesn’t just ask that you eat eggs but that you eat among them. Little faux eggs are everywhere: on the tables, hanging from the ceiling, even emerging from a green wall in a kind of modernist hatching display. Mercifully, the overall effect is more cute than creepy. For breakfast there’s, well, eggs. The menu compartmentalizes them into “cracked” (omelets), “with flour” (pancakes), and “with cream” (French toast). All gussied up, they come blanketed around brioche and layered with strawberries and mascarpone, puffed up inside a thick apple pancake, and even served on top of grilled bologna. At least one vegan option is available too. Lunch leans toward burgers, salads, and a really nice muffaletta sandwich. Brunch offers specials such as strawberry rhubarb French toast. Brunch lines flow out the door but the crush is eased by a coffee station out front.
