Address: FIFTH AVENUE AT CENTRAL PARK S Zipcode: 10019 The Plaza is a New York landmark. It is closed for remodeling and renovations and is expected to reopen in 2007. Once renovation are complete, The Plaza will have 282 hotel rooms, including 152 condo hotel units, and will be managed by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. Many were saddened to see this vital piece of the city temporarily shuttered, but are hopeful its new incarnation will retain much of its previous charm.
